About Wood's Plumbing Enterprises LLC
Serving Southern Arizona with expert plumbing since 1979
Our Story
Bill Woods started Wood's Plumbing Enterprises LLC in 1979 with a simple idea: show up when you say you will, tell people the truth about what their plumbing needs, and stand behind the work. For more than four decades, that approach made Wood's the name Marana, Northwest Tucson and Oro Valley families called first, and many of our customers have used us for generations.
In 2022, Wood's joined forces with Intelligent Design, the family- and veteran-owned Tucson home services company founded by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Andrew Dobbins and rated 4.96 stars across 23,000+ customer reviews. Wood's kept its name, its Marana shop, its phone number and its focus on plumbing. What changed is what stands behind it: more licensed plumbers, more trucks on the road, modern scheduling, and the training and accountability of one of Southern Arizona's most-reviewed home services companies.
Today Wood's handles everything from emergency repairs to repipes, water heaters and slab leaks, and when you need heating, cooling, electrical or solar work, our sister company Intelligent Design is a phone call away. Our 4.8-star average across 200+ Google reviews comes from neighbors who keep calling us back.
The People Behind Wood's
Bill Woods
Founder, 1979
Bill founded Wood's Plumbing in 1979 and built its reputation one Marana home at a time. The standards he set, honest diagnoses, upfront pricing and clean job sites, are still how we work today.
Andrew Dobbins
Owner since 2022
Andrew is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who founded Intelligent Design in Tucson in 2011. When Wood's joined Intelligent Design in 2022, he committed to keeping Wood's a Marana plumbing company first, with the resources of a larger team behind it.
